Services Deal42 Uses
The tools that help the free Deal42 service run, listed separately from sources a user chooses to connect.
1. Services used by Deal42

The exact services involved depend on the feature used. Visiting the public website alone does not send deal content to an AI provider.
2. Sources users can connect

| Google Drive | A user grants the non-sensitive drive.file permission and chooses one PDF in Google Picker. Deal42 reads the account label and selected-file details needed for the import, downloads that PDF, and keeps no Google access token or refresh token on its servers. |
| Google Meet (default-off) | If the connector is separately enabled and a user connects it, Deal42 requests only openid and https://www.googleapis.com/auth/meetings.space.readonly to identify the connected account and read eligible ended conference, transcript, participant, speaker, and timing data. Google Meet access and refresh credentials are encrypted in Deal42’s server-side tenant-bound connection store. Only a transcript the user explicitly selects may be kept as a private, tenant-bound immutable snapshot, and its content is sent for AI processing only when the user separately requests an analysis. |

These sources remain separate services. Importing content does not authorize Deal42 to edit a source. Airtable writeback requires your manual request or explicit per-connection opt-in to automatic writeback, which is off by default. It fills empty mapped fields, preserves existing values and verifies the saved values. Automatic writes follow a successful analysis while the Control Center is open and can resume in the same browser. Notion writeback requires a separate preview and confirmation. Disconnecting a source stops future access but does not by itself remove a copy already imported into Deal42.
